Sydney's top 7 Insta-worthy Places To Visit

When it comes to taking the perfect Insta pic, we know the struggle. Making sure the lighting is right, choosing the best angle, and finding the right filter that will make people jealous of your oh-so-gorgeous Insta paradise. But what comes before taking your snap is finding the right scenic location to photograph which can even more difficult to find. We’ve done our research and found a list of Sydney’s most Instagrammable places as decided by author, Rohit Agarwal.

First on the list is Bare Island. Located in La Perouse, Bare Island displays an elaborate fort built in the 1880’s to ward off invaders and was decommissioned by 1902 to then be used as a retirement home for war veterans. In recent years, Bare Island featured as a backdrop in Mission Impossible II.

Taking the next spot on the list is Carriageworks. Tucked away within the Eveleigh Rail Yards, it is now known for its multi-arts centre. Carriageworks retains its glorious heritage and nineteenth century industrial atmosphere with former railway carriage and blacksmith workshops conserved for public viewing. Take a snap here and let the destination work the camera.

If you’re looking to snap our most beloved Sydney icons, take a tour on the Manly Ferry and absorb the sun and sea. This snap means you can capture the Harbour Bridge and Opera House all in one picturesque click of a button.

The Museum of Contemporary Art is a photographer’s best friend. Offering a range of scenes and sights to see, it’s easy to take that perfect pic here. Located in The Rocks, taking a snap here will be sure to grab the eye of your followers.
